My pic of the . . . something
Finally following through with a borrowed idea I posted juuuust over a year ago, I’m going to attempt to post a picture, probably taken by my mobile phone, once a day . . week . . month whenever I think about it.
As luck would have it, I’ve been taking pictures on my phone since I got it months ago, so I’ve got some content stuffed in reserves. Hopefully that’ll keep this going, at least for a little while.
So, on to the money shot.
I took this photo first thing in the morning on September 1 of this year. It was opening morning of dove season in North Texas and we were at a friends place in Gunter, TX. It was gorgeous outside . . a good time as usual.
We were able to nab a couple of birds [and yes, we do eat what we shoot], but as usual, hunting is more about spending a little quality time outdoors with good friends.
